Dalam kondisi tersebut kita diharapkan dapat berdoa agar Indonesia bisa terhindar dari segala bencana dan setiap manusia bisa sadar dan cinta terhadap lingkungannya.
Dengan doa-doa yang tulus tersebut, diharapkan Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa bisa mendengarnya, dan menyadarkan setiap manusia untuk dapat selalu menghargai dan menjaga alam ini.

THE SPIRIT OF ‘KALI CODE’ (Semangat Dari ‘Kali Code”). Kali yang terletak di daerah istimewa Yogyakarta, yang dilewati lahar dingin langsung dari gunung merapi. Tidak terhitung banyaknya material yang tertumpah dari gunung menuju kali code, baik pasir, batu gunung, kayu dan material lainnya.
Lahar Dingin itu menuju dan melewati Kali code yang disekitarnya hidup ratusan kepala keluarga, hal tersebut telah mengakibatkan kehidupan masyarakat tersebut diliputi kekhawatiran karena setiap saat lahar dingin dapat menyapu rumah dan harta benda mereka bahkan tidak menutup kemungkinan orang-orang yang mereka sayangi pun bisa menjadi korban, karena lahar dingin tidak memandang siapapun dan apapun, semua yang dilaluinya jadi rusak dan hancur.
Sampai saat ini, lahar dingin masih membanjiri rumah-rumah disekitar kali code apabila terjadi hujan deras. Namun demikian hal tersebut tidak menyurutkan semangat anak-anak di sekitar kali code untuk tetap beraktivitas seperti mengikuti kegiatan melukis bersama dipinggiran kali code meskipun hanya bertahtakan tumpukan bekas lahar dingin.
Banyak anak bersemangat dan berkreasi menggambar gunung merapi yang masih berasap dengan indahnya, di mana hal tersebut sebenarnya merupakan salah satu terapi untuk menghapuskan rasa takut dan trauma yang berkepanjangan dari akibat bencana letusan gunung merapi yang dianggap sangat mengerikan. Hal tersebut jelas menunjukkan bahwa seni merupakan bagian penting bagi perkembangan anak-anak Indonesia.
